develoPPP Special Competition UkraineSupport for reconstruction projects in Ukraine

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is currently supporting additional projects to reconstruct Ukraine through the develoPPP programme . The special competition Ukraine is aimed at companies that are willing to pursue business opportunities and get involved in the country despite the very challenging situation there at present. The focus is on relevant projects in the agriculture, health, construction and renewable energies sectors. This might include, for example, applying innovative cultivation methods to stabilise the food situation for the population, or reconstructing important infrastructure using energy-efficient and resilient construction techniques. In addition to purely financial support, companies can also receive technical support locally.

Up to 2 million euros in project funding

Up to 50% public funding share of the total expenditure

Conditions for participating in the special competition Ukraine

The special competition Ukraine is aimed at commercial companies that are registered in member countries of the EU, the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), in Ukraine, or in any other country on the OECD DAC list and:

have at least two audited annual financial statements
have an annual turnover of at least 400,000 euros
have sufficient economic creditworthiness and liquidity
have staff resources and specialist qualifications required to carry out the project
whose project activities are completed by the end of 2026 and are measurable during the project period
