Projects

DEG, GIZ and sequa implement a wide range of projects worldwide that cover a broad spectrum of development policy issues. (GIZ was formed on 1 January 2011. It brings together the long-standing expertise of DED, GTZ and InWEnt). Measures range from water treatment in Mexico, an energy project in India through to the marketing of chocolate bars made from wild cocoa. The five development partnerships described in greater detail under Projects show how measures operate at the interface between development policy and the private sector. Development partnerships allow both sides to work together on areas of common interest and so achieve objectives more quickly, efficiently and cost effectively.
