Modern IT systems for South Africa and Mozambique
CIWI GmbH develops software for integrated project and financial management and has been active on site in Mozambique and South Africa since 2006. Given that, in future, CIWI would like to step up its operations on the markets of southern Africa, the company entered into a development partnership with sequa and local partners, including the Desmond Tutu Center for Leadership (C4L) in South Africa and the Wumunhu Academy for Development Organisations (WADO) in Mozambique. Together they develop further training courses for the introduction and application of modern IT systems. These are specially adapted to the needs of non-governmental organisations and to those of small and medium-sized companies in South Africa and Mozambique.
This development partnership thus supports the professionalisation of SMEs and NGOs and strengthens private-sector development in partner countries. On completion of the project, local partners will continue to provide courses, ensuring that the results are sustainable.
